Reading Challenge

So here it is, past the ides of December and I have in fact finished all my reading challenges.

One was the 2015 Reading Challenge. The other was just to finish 104 books (novels, graphic novels, novellas, short stories etc. etc. etc.). I've made it to a little over 200.

And of course that means it's time for deciding what next year's reading challenges might be. I've checked out the 2016 Reading Challenge floating around out there that I've considered.

I don't know. I like pushing myself to read a few things that have some depth or are outside of my usual favorites which mostly involves fluffy romance or werewolf romance (that's a different type of fluff, shut up) but I'm not sure I want to force myself to read another big stack of books that are outside my usual comfort zone. I read for pleasure for the most part and while I do want to challenge that occasionally I just don't want to end up "stuck" or miserable trying to find a book that interests me to fill a "requirement" that doesn't appeal to me or worse - that I totally hate (a la "policital memior"). Eh, maybe I'll build my own requirements this year.
